Colorado Wool Company started out as an alpaca farm. We fell in love with natural fibers! Crafting was always a passion, but crafting with natural fiber and fiber blends took things to a new level! We bought our own fiber processing equipment and began traveling the country participating in fiber festivals and yarn conventions. When Covid shut the world down, we relocated to the mountains of Colorado. We fell in love with the Salida area and community and decided to continue what we love doing HERE! Expanding on what we did at trade shows, we decided to carry a complete line of arts and crafts supplies and invite local artists to join us to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience!
We also offer classes and a lounge for artists and crafters to gather to work on projects, get inspiration, find help, and socialize!
